Embroidery Design Tips: Corporate Logos

As a buyer of corporate apparel, there are a few things to keep in mind when embroidering corporate logos.

1. The logo design will only be as good as the digitizer.

In order for an embroidery company to sew-out your corporate logo, they will need to digitize the file. Once the file (JPEG, TIFF, GIF, Vector) is uploaded into the software, the image is used as a "pattern" in which to lay stitches. It's similar to tracing an outline of a picture, but instead, placing stitches in the process. A digitizing professional is essential for this step because it could make or break the quality of your corporate logo, if the picture is not outlined properly.

2. The image (of your corporate logo) must be of high quality.

It is also important to provide your embroidery experts with the highest quality file that you have available. This will determine how accurately the file will be digitized.

3. Work with an embroidery company with corporate logo experience.

When hiring an embroidery company, the more corporate logo experience the better . Logos are usually a lot more intricate than personal embroidery jobs that may only included the sew-out of letters or script. Make sure the embroidery company that you chose can show you can example of their past work and can provide a current list of viable clients.
