Corporate Logo + Placement = More Visibility

When embroidering shirts you automatically ask your embroidery provider to place the logo on the front left crest of the shirt, don't you? Well, you are not alone.

If one of your objectives for ordering branded apparel is to make your brand more visible, Keeping U in Stitches suggests thinking "outside-0f-the-left crest" by offering unique logo placement that will set your company apart from the crowd.

We suggest placing logos or website addresses on the sleeves of corporate apparel, either vertically or horizontally. We have had recent success when we embroidered a website on the back/top of golf shirts that were used for a trade show. Whether you decide to keep your logo on the left crest, but place additional information in a non-conventional location--the more information you can give your customer, the better. And, placement options are really endless, it just takes a little bit of creativity!

If you would like some more placement options, you can always call the Keeping U in Stitches team and they can help you formulate the best placement based on your logo size, communication objectives and event type.

Embroidery Design Tips: Corporate Logos

As a buyer of corporate apparel, there are a few things to keep in mind when embroidering corporate logos.

1. The logo design will only be as good as the digitizer.

In order for an embroidery company to sew-out your corporate logo, they will need to digitize the file. Once the file (JPEG, TIFF, GIF, Vector) is uploaded into the software, the image is used as a "pattern" in which to lay stitches. It's similar to tracing an outline of a picture, but instead, placing stitches in the process. A digitizing professional is essential for this step because it could make or break the quality of your corporate logo, if the picture is not outlined properly.

2. The image (of your corporate logo) must be of high quality.

It is also important to provide your embroidery experts with the highest quality file that you have available. This will determine how accurately the file will be digitized.

3. Work with an embroidery company with corporate logo experience.

When hiring an embroidery company, the more corporate logo experience the better . Logos are usually a lot more intricate than personal embroidery jobs that may only included the sew-out of letters or script. Make sure the embroidery company that you chose can show you can example of their past work and can provide a current list of viable clients.

It's Wedding Season: Unique Gift Ideas

It's that time of year again--wedding season--time to brush off your suit jacket and polish your dancing shoes! This year be ready for the borritos & mojitos wedding shower, the engagement bash, the bachelor/bachelorette party and pre- and post- wedding soirees by shopping for your gifts early. No clue what to get the lucky couple?

That's where we come in. We offer unique ideas for just about any type of couple and budget. Not only can we cater to those buying wedding gifts, but also offer ideas for wedding party gifts as well.

Here are just some ideas that come to mind. You can check out our website or call us for more information: http://www.uinstitches.com/

Personalized DVD Cases:
Mostly everyone today either video tapes their wedding or is given their wedding pictures on a CD. This gift is perfect for those who like keepsakes and may want something to display their special day. Keep in mind a good picture of the happy couple is required for this:

Personalized Wine Glasses & Wine Bottle:
Not only can keeping u in stitches create memories on DVD cases, but we can also engrave pictures, city sky lines, names, dates, college logo or "inside jokes" on wine glasses or bottles. This is the perfect gift for wine drinkers or someone who may want to save a bottle of wine for their first year wedding anniversary.

Embroidered House Slippers:
This gift is very popular for wedding showers. The slippers could have their new last name embroidered onto the top of them (e.g. "Mrs. Powell", "Mrs. Smith") or they could simply read "I" on one slipper and "do" on the other. This is also a nice gift for the wedding party as well...maybe embroider the date on one slipper and their name on the other.

These are only a few ideas, but embroidery and engraving possibilities are endless. We would love to work with you even if you have your own ideas!
